The featured artworks try to push us out of our habits of perception and force us to experience the “being of the sensible”. What are you thinking about? What is bothering you? introduce us to unconscious optics as does psychoanalysis to unconscious impulses, i.e. the enlargement of a body does not simply render precise what in any case was visible. It reveals entirely new structural formations of the subject. Read more -
Improbable Encounters
Memory, Hybridity, and Displacement 8 Mar - 20 May 2022 Our first exhibition aims to create space for new and emerging artists living and working in Iran and the United Kingdom in what we hope will be the first step towards a generative dialogue and critical conversation between the artists in question, as well as the two wider artistic communities.
